Vista Kimiya Pars, a chemical import company, commissioned Parsi Studio to develop its visual identity from scratch. The logo concept combined the structure of an atom with forms inspired by Iranian historical architecture, creating a visual connection between the company’s scientific field and Iranian heritage. The logotype was then developed through a hybrid approach based on Nastaliq calligraphy. Under the art and brand direction of Farshid Parsikia, I was responsible for developing the corporate color palette and texture. The final identity brought together scientific, architectural, and calligraphic references to create a distinctive visual language for the brand. Vista Kimiya Pars Corporate Identity Parsi Studio | Logo & Logotype Design, Corporate Color & Texture Context Vista Kimiya Pars, a chemical importer company, approached Parsi Studio requesting a complete corporate identity design. The process had to start from scratch — beginning with the logo itself — since at that point the brand existed only as a name. The client’s key requirement was that the logo and logotype draw on Iranian visual elements and typefaces. Process For the symbol (logo), we used the form of the atom as the primary scale and reference point, given the company’s activity in the chemical industry. We then researched the forms of Iranian historical buildings, looking for a shape that could also carry the sense and structure of the atom form. This search went through a process of trial and error until we arrived at the final symbol. The next stage was the logotype. Using Nastaliq calligraphy combined into a hybrid form, we arrived at the brand’s final logotype. Following this, Farshid Parsikia, as art director and brand director, developed and wrote the brand architecture and brand identity. I was responsible for designing the corporate colors and texture. Outcome The result was a complete visual identity that drew simultaneously from two Iranian cultural-visual sources — historical architecture and Nastaliq calligraphy — while linking them to a scientific concept from the chemical industry (the atom form), creating an authentic and distinctive identity for a brand that previously had no visual presence.
